Cemetery

The Parish Cemetery is on Cargoll Road.  It has recently been extended and there are areas for traditional burials and the internment of ashes.  Please click on the link for the burial charges documents/burial-fees-sept-2022.pdf

Public Toilets

The Public Toilets are on Station Road and offer full disabled facilities.

St. Newlyn East Recreation Ground

The Recreation Ground is on Neeham Road.  There is a play area for children with a wide range of equipment, picnic benches, tennis court, football pitch, Skatepark & a MUGA which can be hired by sports teams looking for an all weather pitch to train on.  Please contact the Clerk if you are interested in making a booking. 

The Recreation Ground may be used for local events.  Please contact the Clerk for further information.

Mitchell Play Area

This is in the heart of Mitchell and offers a wide choice of play equipment.

Allotments

The Allotments are situation on Neeham Road and are managed by the St. Newlyn East Allotment Society.  If you are interested in renting an allotment please contact the secretary -

St. Newlyn East Village Hall

The Hall is located on Neeham Road and is managed by the the St. Newlyn East Village Hall Management Committee.  Facilities include a large hall with stage, a committee room, toilets and kitchen.  If you are interested in booking the hall for an event, please contact the Lettings Secretary Diane Edwards on 01872 510485 or villagehallsne@outlook.com.

St. Newlyn East Pit

 

The Preaching Pit on Cargoll Road is a place of cultural and historical interest to the Parish.  The Parish Council has taken over the lease and it is now run by a Management Committee.  The Pit is available for concerts, shows, plays etc..  For further information, please click on the following link documents/hire-agreement-form.doc
